Committee

Laurencekirk Scout Group is a registered charity which is run by an elected committee of parents, plus the leaders from each section (Beavers, Cubs and Scouts). Committee meetings are held approximately 4 times a year. We have a vacancy for Group Scout Leader. The job of the Group Scout Leader would be to coordinate the section leaders.

Parents who are not on the committee also get involved in organising and helping at fundraising events, and with hall maintenance.

On May 8th 2018 a new committee was formed.  The main office bearers are as follows:

The Group Executive Committee members are also the Trustees of the Laurencekirk Scout Group charity.
