Welcome to the Laurencekirk Scout Group (Scottish Charity No.SC011699)
Laurencekirk is host to thriving groups of Beavers, Cubs and Scouts who come from the town and surrounding villages. Over 60 boys (and occasionally girls!) use our Scout Hut every week.
Our hut is in desperate need of refurbishment, and we have launched an appeal to raise the necessary £120,000. We also welcome offers of practical help.
Scouting provides adventurous activities and personal development opportunities for 400,000 young people aged from 6-25 years. We believe that young people develop most when they learn by doing, are given responsibility, work in teams, take acceptable risks and think for themselves.
So, whether you are a young person or a big kid with a responsible streak, join our big adventure and see what Scouting can offer you...
